For me, the most rewarding thing is knowing that the products that I sign my name to are the best possible products to leave the building, because I understand that the products that we create are going into something that is exceptionally important to the people that we’re creating them for.
I’d say the hierarchy here is very flat. We don’t look at each other as being better than one another because of our roles. We just look at each other as another peer or team player. Everyone brings something unique to the table, and therefore they’re just as valuable as anyone else.
My favorite aspect is the degrees of freedom that I’m allowed to learn how to do things and develop things. They trust that I know what I’m doing, and they trust that I’m going to do it to the best of my ability and come up with a good result in the end.
It’s a very open work environment where you can walk into any manager’s office and collaborate on a project, ask a question, and everyone wants to help. It’s relaxed, but it’s also fast-paced.
